Cellar & Bar Lead
The Pickled Pig is looking for a skilled and hands-on Cellar & Bar Lead to help drive the heart of our pub.
We're proud of our cask ales, carefully chosen wines and busy live music nights. Quality matters here — from the condition of the cellar to the energy behind the bar.
This is a senior, front-line role with real responsibility, plus, there is no need to live on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for cask cellar management
* Maintaining exceptional cellar standards and beer quality
* Stock control, rotation and line cleaning
* Leading bar shifts and setting the tone for service
* Supporting wine service and drinks development
* Helping deliver smooth and successful live music evenings
* Training and guiding the team
Essential Experience
* Proven cask cellar management experience is essential
* Food hygiene certification and practical knowledge of food safety standards
* Strong understanding of stock control and wastage management
* Experience leading a bar team
* Confident, organised and standards-driven
