Salary – National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £52,400 to £71,200 and London £57,700 to £78,300 pro rata (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

The Wholesale Banks Supervision Department oversees the conduct of investment banks, helping to ensure fair outcomes and strong market integrity. Our projects team is responsible for carrying out multi-firm reviews to assess how banks meet their conduct responsibilities, deliver good outcomes for clients and support the integrity of financial markets.
What will you be doing?
1. Co-designing and delivering multi-firm regulatory projects that assess bank conduct and communicate findings to the wider sector, working closely with colleagues across supervision and technical teams
2. Exploring conduct risks in wholesale banking by thoughtfully analysing FCA data and external insights
3. Leading and contributing to collaborative workstreams within a supportive supervisory team and wider department
4. Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at firms and other regulators through clear engagement
5. Preparing accessible, timely briefings for senior leaders and internal teams, sharing insights both verbally and in writing
6. Fostering an inclusive culture by actively supporting diversity, listening to different perspectives and encouraging respectful dialogue

Minimum
13. Prior experience in wholesale financial services, consultancy, legal, or regulatory environments, with a thoughtful understanding of sector dynamics
14. Prior experience engaging constructively with senior stakeholders to support positive change and build trusted relationships
15. Prior experience in solving complex problems effectively, and adapting approach in response to new information and insights

17. Confidence working independently, applying sound judgement and knowing when to seek support or escalate issues
