Business Support Officer - Attendance & Admissions Salary: £25,584-£27,269 per annum (Pro Rata: £22,569.93-£24,056.42) Hours: 37 per week | Contract: Term Time 2 weeks, Permanent Location: B7 We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Business Support Officer to oversee and coordinate key aspects of attendance and admissions at our secondary school. This is a vital front-facing role that supports the smooth running of the school and helps ensure every student has access to education. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and record daily student attendance using the school's MIS system Follow up on absences, liaising with parents/carers and external agencies where necessary Support the admissions process, from initial enquiries through to enrolment Maintain accurate and confidential student records in line with GDPR Produce attendance reports and contribute to safeguarding meetings Provide general administrative support to the wider school office as required What We're Looking For: Previous experience in a school office or similar administrative setting Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, or equivalent) Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage sensitive information confidentially and professionally A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach A valid enhanced DBS is essential Please call us on 0121 450 8950 to apply or send an email to regnin.uppal@ppmrecruit.com
