St. John’s is excited to announce that we are looking to recruit a talented and dynamic part-time KS1 teacher, to provide maternity cover starting in February 2026.
St John’s is a Single Academy Trust with Voluntary Aided status. We welcome candidates who value our Christian ethos while contributing individual flair to our fantastic school.
The successful candidate will have plenty of drive, creativity and energy to join a very talented team. They must have super inter-personal skills and the ability to build excellent relationships across the whole school community. Skill and experience in leading and developing a ‘Continuous Provision’ style approach to delivering the Year1 Curriculum would be of distinct advantage.

This position is a part-time, fixed term role starting in February 2026 and running until at least 31st August 2026 (exact dates tbc). Remuneration is within the MPS scale. Visits are positively encouraged.
