Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller for a contract role based in Leeds. This position offers hybrid and flexible working opportunities and is available on a freelance basis (inside IR35) for an initial period of six months. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing and calibrating hydrodynamic models for wastewater networks
Conducting hydraulic analysis and performance assessments of wastewater systems
Interpreting and analysing data to ensure accurate modelling outcomes
Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Providing expert advice on wastewater modelling and related issues
Producing detailed technical reports and presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders
Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling practices and methodologies
Job Requirements:
Experience in wastewater modelling and hydraulic analysis
Proficiency with relevant modelling software and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in a related field
