Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager – Rail (Contract)

We are currently recruiting for Contract Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to support delivery of rail infrastructure projects within a Network Rail environment.
These are immediate opportunities for experienced Rail Project Managers / Assistant Project Managers to join active programmes focused on asset protection, rail infrastructure and project delivery.
The Roles
We have two live positions:
* Project Manager – York
* Assistant Project Manager – Peterborough
Both roles will support the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, working within a regulated Network Rail environment and collaborating with key stakeholders across project teams.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver rail projects in line with Network Rail standards, governance and safety requirements
* Support end-to-end project lifecycle delivery from planning through to completion
* Manage and coordinate stakeholders including contractors, engineers and client teams
* Ensure compliance with rail safety, asset protection and infrastructure standards
* Monitor project progress, risks and performance
* Support reporting, programme tracking and project controls
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager within the rail sector
* Strong experience working in a Network Rail environment
* Background in rail infrastructure, asset protection or project delivery
* Understanding of project lifecycle, governance, safety and compliance
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated project environment
Desirable
* Experience in Asset Protection (ASPRO) or rail interface management
* Relevant project management qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
