Care Assistant - Days
Location: Nightingale Nursing & Care Home, Edwinstowe, NG21 9PA
Hours: Full Time (7am-7pm, 3-4 days a week, including alternate weekends)
Salary: £12.80ph (£11.80ph for 18-21 year olds)

About Nightingale Nursing & Care Home
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The purpose‑built home is homely, with garden areas aligned with Jasmine's values. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide the highest possible level of care, supporting residents in daily living, including personal care and assistance with activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Promote residents' independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
* Maintain 100% current with all mandatory training throughout the year.
Role Requirements
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Residing 20 minutes or less near the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Time management and organisational skills.
