About the Role
Full‑time, 37 hours per week (flexible working arrangements, including part time, will be considered). Permanent. Hybrid working with office location at Washington, Tyne and Wear. Salary: From £68,085 per year (depending on experience) plus Car Allowance and Bonus.
In this pivotal role you will collaborate with colleagues across the business to lead the successful delivery of outputs aligned with our company objectives, focusing on a programme that provides a reliable and resilient water supply. You will oversee a multi‑million‑pound capital investment programme, managing a team of Project Managers and driving safe, lean, and agile delivery in line with the Integrated Delivery Services (IDS) ethos.
* Lead a high‑performance team culture, embedding innovation and continuous improvement.
* Apply rigorous programme and project management processes to achieve a high level of predictability of output.
* Shape individual projects at the foundational stage to optimise delivery efficiency and maximise programme benefit realisation.
* Manage commercial aspects across all programme phases, including substantial contracts or multiple smaller ones.
* Ensure ecosystem partner activities meet company quality standards and comply with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
* Demonstrate safe‑first mindset, ensuring all activities are carried out safely.
* Drive stakeholder relationships, ensuring internal and external stakeholders are well‑informed and aligned.
* Measure and monitor customer experience, taking proactive action to deliver an unrivalled customer experience.
About You
You have the ability and passion to create and lead a high‑performing Integrated Delivery Services team. Your deep understanding of Water Treatment Works assets and processes enables progress at pace through critical thinking and complex problem‑solving.
With influence and integrity you build sustainable collaborative relationships across the business and delivery ecosystem. You thrive in an environment of accelerating change, are open to questions, and are curious and proactive in developing new ways of working.
