We are currently working with a client who is seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) to join their team on an interim basis.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the management of a diverse and strategically important property and land portfolio across the borough.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of a varied portfolio of property and land interests. This includes delivering a broad range of professional and non-professional property services, and providing strategic advice on acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and asset optimisation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing assets across both public and private sector contexts.
2. Ensuringpliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
3. Liaising with internal colleagues and senior representatives from external organisations, customers, and suppliers.
4. Building and maintaining relationships with ad-hoc multidisciplinary programme and project teams.
Ideally, with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) you should have considerable diverse experience across a wide range of asset types and property-related work, as well as a strong track record in both public and private sector environments.
Initially, for an initial short term (3/4-month period), this is ideally a full-time (5 days/week) role for which a minimum of 2 days per week in the office is essential.
