The team
The team allocates funding to FCRM's investment programmes and manages performance at the portfolio level to meet corporate goals such as better protecting communities from flooding. We are a community focused team and rely on collaborative working. We are passionate about development, wellbeing and inclusion.
This role sits in the FCRM National Directorate in the Portfolio Management Assurance and Comercial team
Experience/skills Required
Through experience to date you will ideally be able to demonstrate some or all of the following:
Methodical working and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
Able to remain calm under pressure and use own initiative.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others.
Ability to use Excel, GiS data mapping, experience using dasboards and power Bi
Preference for Management of Portfolios and working in a programme / portfolio environment
Excellent writing and power point skills to communicate complex topics in a simple way

There is no base location requirement for this role, it will be a hybrid post between home and a local office with occasional travel to London, Birmingham and Bristol.
Everyone that joins us is required to undertake training and participate in incident response duties when the need to respond arises Having an incident role is an essential part of working for the Environment Agency and an active way to support communities and prevent harm to the environment.Further information on incident response can be found within your candidate pack.
The interview will be via MS teams before the 15 July.
