As a Logistics Coordinator at Terex, based in Dungannon, you'll play a pivotal role in being the lead point of contact for logistic coordination for the appointed Terex Brand. You will be responsible for the transport co-ordination, freight costings and compliancy aspects of a busy multi-brand Logistics department.
What you’ll do
1. Serve as the lead point of contact for all logistical coordination for appointed Terex brand.
2. Transport co-ordination from various Terex sites.
3. Obtaining freight costings and updating and maintaining freight rates.
4. Completion of export paperwork for machine orders, providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation, customer and carrier requirements.
5. Oversee audits both internally and externally and ensure department meets all compliancy rules & regulations.
6. Resolving customer queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Build and maintain good rapport and excellent relations with key contacts and suppliers.
8. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Terex product according to customer needs and objectives
9. Clearly communicate the progress of orders to internal and external stakeholders
What you’ll bring
10. Client-focused solutions experience
11. The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy in preparing /checking paperwork with minimal supervision
12. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
13. Must have 2 years or more admin experience
14. Minimum of 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or above
15. Strong MS Office skills, in particular excellent proven working knowledge of MS Excel
16. Ability to meet strict deadlines
17. Ability to work within a team
Desirable
18. Experience in a high volume business, shipping to a global customer base
19. Flexible and adaptable to learning/taking on new tasks and responsibilities
20. Experience in customs formalities
21. Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system
22. Knowledge of Terex machine brands and Terex compliance procedures
23. Experience of all modes of transport including Heavy Haulage and Ro-Ro shipping
