About the school
Prospero Teaching are working with an Ofsted rated Good, mixed, Catholic secondary school located in Luton who are seeking a History Teacher to work in their school starting September. The role is full-time, – 3pm Monday – Friday. The History teacher will be conducting lessons from GCSE to A levels.
This mixed, secondary school is steeped in history, students and staff benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and being located in Luton is really accessible. There is an onsite car park and parking available on nearby roads. A number of buses and trains serve the school.

HISTORY TEACHER EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Qualified Teacher of History teacher
2. Knowledge of the National Curriculum
3. Teacher of History at key stage 3 and 4
4. You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply basis
5. NQT’S welcome to apply
6. Overseas trained History teacher s welcome to apply
7. You will be required to commit to a full-time History teaching timetable
8. Joining a well-resourced History dept where team teaching and support is given
9. You will be required to plan engaging stimulating History lessons and using the variety of technology the school have to deliver these History lessons
10. Possess strong communication skills
11. Ability to engage with students and build rapport
