Job Description
3. Manage your own portfolio of clients, including OMBs, SMEs, and limited companies, ensuring timely delivery of all accounts and tax requirements.
4. Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts, management accounts, and supporting schedules in line with accounting standards (FRS 102, FRS 105).
5. Oversee and review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and other financial reporting prepared by junior team members.
6. Mentor, support, and supervise junior accountants, providing on-the-job training and technical guidance.
7. Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
The Successful Applicant
8. ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
9. Strong background in accounts preparation and review for a mixed client base.
10. Confident communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills. Proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS, or similar platforms.
11. Ambitious, proactive, and committed to developing both personally and professionally.
