Your new role
The role of the School Facilities Manager is to ensure that the school functions safely and effectively on a daily basis. The role is key to ensuring that school facilities are available and fit for purpose at all times. The School Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that the site is clean and tidy, items are moved to the appropriate place, minor repairs are made and contractors are effectively monitored whilst on site.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a can‑do attitude and lead by example whilst having experience in premises management and building management. Ideally you will be knowledgeable about security systems and Health & Safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
