Business Development Consultant – 6-12 month contract on a full or part-time basis to set up business development for the Bristol office of an international law firm.

This Business Development Consultant role is a really exciting opportunity to play an important role in setting up the marketing and business development strategy for the Bristol office of this major international law firm.
\n\n
\n\n
The role can be taken on a full time basis (most likely for six months) or a part-time basis (most likely for 12 months and there is also the opportunity for the role to become a permanent role for the right person.

You will work closely with the firm’s Practice Managers and Business Development Managers to develop the marketing and business capability. Specifically, you will:

* Work with the Bristol partners to develop the BD and marketing strategy for the office; Conduct in-depth local market analysis of the Bristol market, including sector and competitor analysis; Work with the partners to identify opportunities for new business; Develop a key client programme for the Bristol office; Run events and create local sponsorship opportunities to raise the firm’s profile in the Bristol market; Develop profile raising initiatives and campaigns for the local market.
