Overview
Provide one-to-one counselling in an alternative provisions school, onsite. For students and occasionally staff if needed.
2 days per week, 6 sessions per day £31.50 per session. Self-employed, contract with school counselling service.
Responsibilities
To provide school counselling with a whole-school approach. Whilst understanding the importance of working closely with pastoral team and staff. Able to build trusting, consistent therapeutic relationships with young clients with ACEs.
Qualifications
Counselling diploma, BACP registration, own DBS and insurance. School counselling experience essential. Ideally experience of working in an alternative provisions school but not essential.
