The Trafford and Stockport College Group (TSCG) offers an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer to join the Computing team to help us achieve our vision of unlocking potential for successful futures.
Responsibilities
You will teach Level 2 and Level 3 IT and Computing courses, including T-Levels and BTEC Nationals, and may take on higher‑level teaching depending on experience.
You will act as Course Tutor for groups of students, supporting their learning journey toward successful careers in computing or into further/higher education.
You will assess students in a variety of ways and prepare them for external examinations.
You will deliver high‑quality, learner‑focused education, develop curriculum, and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable students to succeed and thrive.
This role requires developing a student‑centred learning experience and achieving high standards of student assessment and support.
Qualifications & Experience
Passion for education and experience in software engineering and programming, including technologies such as Java, Python, .NET.
Knowledge in web development, computer systems, data science, and cybersecurity.
Level 2 Digital and Level 3 Computing BTEC qualifications are required.
