Hurstpierpoint College invites candidates to answer specific questions for the personal statement section. This is a Teach Hurst opportunity to train as a teacher on-site at Hurstpierpoint College, one of Sussex's most successful independent schools.
We are now recruiting for January and September 2026 opportunities. A competitive starting salary from day one of £31,000, increasing as you progress through the programme. No fees! We offer a fully funded teacher training programme including sponsorship of PGCE and Early Career Teachers (ECT) training. Free on-site accommodation at our Sussex campus, twenty minutes from Brighton and within easy reach of London by rail. Other benefits include free meals during term time and access to a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities as part of our Co-curricular programme. On completion, many continue their career at Hurst into positions of responsibility with pay increases.

Teach Hurst Programme – Key questions to answer
