Position Overview
We are offering a permanent vacancy for a Teacher of Design and Technology (full or part‑time) starting September 2026.
Responsibilities
* Teach and deliver Design and Technology schemes of learning in KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Design and Technology and the Materials Engineering Pathway.
* Deliver Product Design at A′ Level where experience is met.
* Use excellent workshop, hand‑and‑machine manufacturing skills and design communication skills.
* Work within a new, well‑equipped workshop environment and contribute to a department with a hardworking, positive ethos and mutual support.
* Demonstrate a track record of success and align personal qualities with the Trust’s ethos and objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in teaching Design and Technology at KS3, KS4, GCSE level, or A′ Level product design.
* Expertise in workshop practice, both hand and machine.
* Strong design communication abilities.
* Commitment to safeguarding children; all staff are expected to share this commitment.
* Eligibility for enhanced Disclosure (DBS) and other statutory clearance.
