Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to lead and manage our health, safety, and compliance standards across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who can effectively communicate, influence, and drive positive change at all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the highest standards of Health & Safety are maintained across all sites and operations.
* Develop, implement, review, and manage company-wide health, safety, and compliance policies and procedures.
* Prepare and maintain comprehensive Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH Assessments.
* Conduct regular site audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and producing detailed reports.
* Assess and manage safety hazards, ensuring completion and accuracy of all H&S documentation.
* Deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, staff inductions, and conduct incident investigations where required.
* Identify and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in compliance performance.
* Attend site visits and participate in operational and management meetings as needed.
* Ensure company equipment, tools, and assets are maintained to required safety and compliance standards.
* Oversee staff training, ensuring all employees are appropriately trained and competent in their roles.
* Maintain and manage relevant industry accreditations.
* Keep up to date with evolving legislation and ensure company-wide compliance.
Requirements
* NEBOSH or IOSH Health & Safety Qualification
* Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a similar Health & Safety/Compliance role within the UK
* Based in the UK with full right to work
* Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based compliance platforms
