Role: Accounts Assistant

Location : Stirling

Your new role

As an Accounts Assistant you'll support the Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller in processing all aspects of Robertson Group Limited and other smaller group entities.

What you'll do:

1. Maintaining purchase invoice register and processing purchase invoices when authorised for payment
2. Preparation and distribution of monthly sales invoices including recharges
3. Checking and updating bank details
4. Preparing BACS payments and setting up payments on the banking portal for authorisation.
5. Posting daily bank transactions from bank statements
6. Processing monthly expense claims and payment thereof
7. Reconciling monthly credit card transactions
8. Supporting with any ad hoc matters which arise

You’ll already be working towards qualification and experienced in a busy finance function and you’ll have a background in delivering similar services to a high standard and with accuracy. What’s just as important are strong communication, process and excel skills, an analytical approach and a genuine ability to set realistic objectives and solve key problems.
