The Role

You will be instrumental in building a supply chain that supports the delivery of modular nuclear power stations, integrating innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with programme goals and regulatory requirements
* Conducting detailed supply chain mapping to identify critical nodes, dependencies, and potential vulnerabilities
* Developing risk mitigation frameworks to ensure continuity and resilience across the supply base
* Leading cross-functional collaboration to address interdependencies across engineering, commercial, logistics, and regulatory teams
* Analysing market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and identify strategic opportunities
* Monitoring supplier performance and market dynamics to ensure alignment with business objectives
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes, systems, and governance
* Supporting strategic decision-making through scenario planning and data-driven insights
* Acting as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
* Proven experience in designing and managing supply chains within complex, regulated industries (e.g. nuclear, aerospace, construction, energy)
* Strong operational and strategic background in procurement, logistics, and supplier management
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders across internal and external organisations
* Experience with technical domains such as heavy engineering, modular construction, EC&I, or nuclear components
* Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with supply chain modelling and planning tools
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
* A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline
Success in This Role Will Look Like
* A robust and scalable supply chain network that supports programme delivery
* Effective mitigation of supply chain risks and bottlenecks
* High levels of supplier performance and strategic alignment
* Seamless collaboration across RR SMR departments and external partners
* A high-performing, agile supply chain team that continuously evolves to meet future needs
