Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for a Wireline Resource & Asset Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will take a lead role in driving the strategic planning, optimisation, and deployment of wireline assets and resources within established S&OP and S&OE frameworks. This global position is critical to ensuring optimised asset utilisation, operational efficiency, and consistent service quality across a global portfolio, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory, certification, and company standards. The role also supports key growth initiatives by aligning asset availability with commercial priorities and evolving operational demands. You will act as a pivotal link in the execution of key projects, coordinating closely with Operations, Sales, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams across multiple regions. Your focus will be on ensuring seamless service delivery, maximising equipment performance, and enabling timely and efficient mobilisation of wireline resources in support of both key ongoing operations and strategic opportunities. You will be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis. Duties/Responsibilities: Plan and forecast global equipment needs, ensuring optimal allocation and support for growth initiatives and key projects worldwide. Drive process improvements in planning, scheduling, and asset management to enhance efficiency and cost control. Govern, Implement and Manage asset data, monitor performance (KPIs), and drive improvements in utilization, readiness, and cost efficiency. Collaborate within the Sales & Operations Execution and Sales & Operations Planning frameworks with Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Maintenance to ensure equipment readiness, certification compliance, and alignment with project and demand requirements. Ensure adherence to regulatory, HSE, and internal standards, and lead/support audits and certification requirements. Govern accurate data in ERP and planning systems to support decision-making and operational visibility. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Extensive experience in wireline operations, planning, or related Well Services roles. Strong understanding of wireline tools, equipment readiness, deployment workflows, and operational requirements. Experience with planning system and ERP. Demonstrated analytical and organisational skills. Strong decision‑making capabilities and operational awareness. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
