Job Description:
Our client, a well-established international main contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a significant £30m refurbishment scheme in Cardiff.
The project is part of a wider regeneration development scheme, delivered on behalf of a respected housing association.

The Role
You will be responsible for the financial success of the project, from procurement to final account. Reporting to a Senior QS or Commercial Manager, you will work with the project team and client to manage costs, valuations, and variations, while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage commercial and contractual aspects of the project
* Prepare interim valuations and agree final accounts
* Monitor cost control and forecasting
* Procure and manage subcontract packages
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure timely and profitable delivery
Requirements
* Experience with a main contractor on residential or commercial projects or with a reputable facades/cladding specialist contractor
* Strong knowledge of post-contract commercial management
* Ability to produce accurate cost reports and forecasts
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail
