Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Develop new products and business initiatives, working in close association with the customer, as well as internal production and commercial departments;
* Conduct assessment of both internal and competitor products to define, and where necessary improve, product performance characteristics;
* Work proactively with customers on the development of new products and/or technical solutions to meet customer needs and/or changing trends within the food, feed, and technical industries;
* Manage and maintain good relations with customers for the long term;
* Coordinate various reports, including financial and credit reporting;
* Communicate regularly with the Commercial Manager about sales and customer issues;
* Administrate your activities and create reports to give insights about the results;
* Work as part of the commercial team to drive sales and profits;
* Any other duties the company believes to be appropriate for this position.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

* Detail oriented.
* Self-motivated.
* An eagerness to learn all about the market for oils and fats would be a necessity.
* Commercially driven.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Comfortable compiling and giving presentations.
Must have Experience.
* Technical knowledge of the bakery/food industry including plant bakery knowledge.
* Good understanding of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages would be an advantage.
* A minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent in either business studies, food technology or similar related subject.
* Qualified Baker or experience of working in a bakery.
* Working knowledge of SAP.
