Join LOCALiQ and make an impact in local media. This is a consultative, telephone-based sales role where you’ll be speaking directly with business owners and decision-makers across the county. You’ll understand their goals and recommend tailored advertising strategies from our digital display and print portfolio. You’ll be representing some of the region’s most trusted local news brands and offering innovative advertising solutions that help businesses grow and thrive. This role is based near Warrington; you must be able to commute and work Monday to Friday during office hours.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and win new business by proactively reaching out to potential clients across the North West using cold calling and outbound sales techniques.
* Work to clear financial targets and KPIs, consistently striving to exceed monthly revenue goals and performance benchmarks.
* Manage and grow existing client accounts, providing ongoing support, identifying upsell opportunities, and increasing client spend through strategic recommendations.
* Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using a consultative approach to move prospects through the sales cycle.
* Build long-term relationships with clients by providing expert advice, excellent service, and ongoing support.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery for new clients.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s evolving product suite to maintain a competitive edge.
* Represent LOCALiQ with professionalism and credibility, acting as a trusted ambassador for our regional news brands.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Strong communication and influencing skills – confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers; ability to build rapport and guide conversations toward outcomes.
* Experience in outbound calling – comfortable starting conversations and creating opportunities through proactive outreach.
* Confident in securing new business over the phone; ability to ask the right questions, handle objections, and close deals.
* Able to grow and nurture existing client accounts; understands long-term relationship value and how to increase client spend.
* Delivers exceptional customer service with a seamless, supportive client experience.
* A consultative, client-focused approach to selling; listening, learning, and tailoring recommendations to client goals.
* Proven B2B sales experience (advantageous); candidates with limited sales exposure but strong work ethic and willingness to learn are welcome.
* Understanding of multimedia advertising (advantageous); training provided if needed.
* Able to commute to the office daily and be part of an on-site team.
