We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Key Account Manager - Snacking to oversee our sales operations and distributor interactions in the UK region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of effectively managing distributor relationships in this market.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth in the UK region.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors and wholesalers, in the assigned territories.
* Collaborate closely with distributors to execute sales plans, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business expansion.
* Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to the management team.
* Ensure timely delivery of products, resolve any distribution issues, and manage inventory levels effectively.
* Conduct regular visits to distributors, retail outlets, and trade events to strengthen relationships and gather market feedback.
* Train and motivate distributor sales teams to achieve sales targets and enhance product knowledge.
* Coordinate with internal departments, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to support sales initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
* Stay updated on industry regulations, trade policies, and market dynamics affecting the snack category and FMCG sector.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the snack category or FMCG industry.
* Proven experience in managing distributor and modern trade channels.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territories.
* Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
