Operations Operative – IT Recycling Location: StaffordDepartment: IT Recycling OperationsHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pmReports to: Operations Supervisor Converge UK is on a mission to deliver sustainable, innovative IT solutions — and we’re growing.We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Operations Operative to join our Global Award-Winning IT Recycling Operations team. If you’re active, practical, and want to make a real difference in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you. What You’ll Do As a key member of our operations team, you’ll support the full lifecycle of our IT recycling process, including: Warehouse & Processing Work Check, record, weigh, and count incoming assets and materials Log asset information using internal computer systems Support refurbishment activities, including data wiping and basic repairs Dismantle IT equipment for recycling or re-use Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment Quality & Standards Follow internal management systems and health & safety procedures Work in line with sustainability and environmental best practices Ensure products meet all required quality assurance standards Support continuous improvement and Lean working methods What We’re Looking For Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential VNA Licence – desirable Experience in a warehouse, recycling, logistics, or operations environment is beneficial Comfortable using computers and basic software A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy operational setting Why Join Us?
