Job Description
The Client Support Accountant is primarily responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to the Client Accountants.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks Include
* Manage personal workflow to meet SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
* Prepare, coordinate, and finalize service charge and statutory accounts, including related HMRC filings.
* Liaise effectively with internal teams, auditors, directors, and property owners to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
* Handle financial integration of new sites, VAT reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc or tribunal-related accounting tasks.
* Resolve client and external queries promptly, maintaining high levels of service and professionalism.
* Ensure adherence to review, control, and documentation procedures in line with company and industry standards.
* Support internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Contribute to business improvement, uphold TPG's reputation, and engage with its vision and core values.
Qualifications And Skills
Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy or financial environment, ideally within client accounting.
* Strong bookkeeping knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
* Part-qualified or qualified with a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
* Highly computer literate, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong written and verbal communication.
* Organised, client-focused, and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Analytical and detail-oriented, with an inquisitive mindset and ability to identify and improve internal processes.
