Careers AdvisorLocation: Remote (with Day 1 onboarding onsite)Contract: 6 weeks (potential short extension)Rate: Up to £250/day (umbrella)Hours: 37 horus per weekAbout the Role: We’re seeking a qualified Careers Advisor to provide high-quality guidance to secondary students, focusing on those at risk or needing additional support. You’ll play a vital role in helping students make informed decisions at key transitions, including GCSE, post-16, and post-18 pathways.Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 and group careers guidance sessions
* Support vulnerable or high-need students with tailored advice
* Maintain accurate student records, action plans, and follow-ups
* Collaborate with school leadership and stakeholders to identify priority students
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Level 6 Careers Advisor (Level 4 considered if no Level 6 available)
* Experience supporting post-16 students
* Knowledge of labour market trends, vocational and academic pathways
* Confident delivering individual and group guidance sessions
* Skilled in managing caseloads and maintaining detailed records
Compliance Requirements:
* Security clearance / Enhanced DBS
* Must attend Day 1 onboarding onsite plus once a month in the office
* Full-time (37 hours/week)
