HR Adviser - Education Sector - Essex with hybrid working - up to £35,000
Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Adviser to join a leading FE College based across Essex.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting all employee relation queries including capability and conduct issues, grievance and disciplinary procedures.
2. Working closely with the HR Associate to ensure that probations, absences, and changes to contracts are tracked, recorded, and processed.
3. Taking a lead role in embedding the health & wellbeing strategy.
4. Assisting the HR Business Partner in areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement, and talent analytics.
5. Coaching, mentoring, and advising peers and junior employees.
Candidate Profile
You should be an experienced HR Generalist or HR Adviser with a proven track record in dealing with complex employee relations, supporting managers through change projects, and providing effective HR guidance. Experience in a fast-paced operational environment is preferred, ideally within the education sector, though this is not essential. You must be willing to travel between a couple of sites.
