About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Demi Chef de Partie Pastry to join our dynamic kitchen team in a prestigious hospitality venue located in the heart of Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pastry chef to contribute to a high-end culinary experience in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present high-quality pastry items including desserts, cakes, tarts, breads, and plated sweets.
* Assist in the development and creation of new pastry dishes for various menus, including afternoon tea, fine dining, and large-scale events.
* Ensure consistency and quality of all pastry products in accordance with established standards.
* Support the Pastry Chef and senior team in the daily operation of the pastry section.
* Monitor stock levels, manage waste, and ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen section at all times.

* Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end hotel, restaurant, or event catering environment.
* A strong passion for pastry and baking with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
* Culinary qualifications or relevant training in patisserie.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
