We are currently looking to expand our team here at Jollies House and are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our friendly team of staff.
We are based in Shepperton TW17 and provide high quality personalised nursery care and education. Our facilities are fresh and contemporary, and privately owned, we have our own outdoor learning environment where we teach forest skills, we are always improving and are well resourced.
Level III qualification is required and of course experience in childcare. However we fully support individuals looking to do their level III if you hold a level II
This is ideally for a full time, permanent member of staff although everyone only works a four day week. You will receive the same day off every week allowing you to make plans etc. Work life balance is important and we do all we can to ensure your work is left at Jollies so that you can relax at home when you are off, (No learning journeys or planning at home)
You will also be able to become part of our Outdoor Learning programme and work in parity with our forest school partners.

Key duties:
* Using your initiative to ensure the room is pro-active and motivated
* Spending time with the children either in adult led activities or engaging in the children's play ensuring all of the children are motivated throughout the day
* Comforting the children when necessary and nurturing their well-being
* To undertake daily routines, assisting children with their self-help skills, changing clothes etc and changing nappies
* To offer an appropriate level of support in all play experiences, enhancing the children's play and stimulating learning and development.
* To act as a key person to a group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met at all times.
* Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members
