Our client, a dynamic and global Fund, Corporate and Private Client Services Provider, is looking to hire a senior Sales candidate to drive sales efforts across the private debt sector. The role will focus on originating and converting new business with private debt managers, building long-term relationships, and positioning the firm’s full platform of solutions. The individual will also take responsibility for leading sales segmentation in private debt, mapping the opportunity set and ensuring targeted, coordinated coverage across the segment. Role & Responsibilities Originate and close new client mandates with private debt managers across Europe. Lead private debt sales segmentation, defining and maintaining market coverage by geography and sub-strategy. Map target clients, influencers, and referral channels, and drive accountability for coverage and execution. Act as subject matter lead for private debt within the sales organisation. Position and sell the firm’s full platform including fund administration, depositary, banking, AIFM/ManCo, compliance, and middle-office services. Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and commercial structures for private debt managers. Partner with product and solutions teams to refine messaging and provide client feedback on market requirements. Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting in Salesforce. Support thought leadership, events, and marketing campaigns targeting private debt managers. Collaborate with colleagues in other regions and asset class segments to cross-sell and share intelligence. Background & Experience Proven track record in business development and sales within private markets, with a focus on private debt managers ideally. Strong network across the private debt ecosystem, including fund managers, placement agents, and advisors. If not from a fund administration sales background, can be a candidate with a strong network within private debt/ private credit who has a 'hunter' sales mentality and is keen to work in this field. Ability to articulate and sell a multi-product platform, not just single-service offerings. Experience structuring and negotiating fund administration or related service agreements. Strategic thinker with experience building segmentation and coverage models. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage at senior levels. Strong organisational skills and disciplined pipeline management. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field. Additional professional qualifications such as CAIA, CFA, or accounting credentials are advantageous but not essential. Fluent in English; additional European languages preferred.
