Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our 3 facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance and repair work. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. The candidate will be required to carry out maintenance activates themselves, as well as arrange maintenance with external contractors.
The candidate will have use of a company vehicle, fuel card and phone
Duties
* Manage, supervise and perform all aspects of site maintenance ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
* Oversee the maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks based on urgency and importance.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
Requirements
* Clean UK driving licence
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance management role.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
* A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of work.
