Our client's practice has served the people of Shipley and the wider area for over 120 years and is now seeking a Care Lawyer who is a member of the Children’s panel to join their team.
Are you the right person for the job?
* Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel
* Previous experience working with Children’s Guardians (preferred)
* Strong advocacy and case management skills
* Ambitious, driven, and ready for a leadership role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Understanding of Urdu or Punjabi is an advantage
What will your role look like?
* Lead the Care Proceedings department, taking over from the retiring head of department
* Represent clients in public law Children Act proceedings, acting on behalf of children, parents, and guardians
* Accept instructions from Children’s Guardians (if accredited and experienced)
* Help drive the growth and development of the department through strategic input and client relationship building
* Potential involvement in family financial cases
* Contribute to the firm’s wider goals with professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused approach
