Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening and Weekend Care Professional to join our team in Portsmouth, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our care organization, you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients during evening and weekend hours.
1. Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
2. Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
3. Provide support for continence care when needed
4. Help with morning and evening routines
5. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing linens
6. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring food safety guidelines are followed
7. Accompany clients to appointments, social events, or outings
8. Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities and hobbies
9. Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan
10. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
11. Document and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
12. Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications

22. Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
23. Enhanced Disclosure clearance (preferred)
24. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required)
25. Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
26. Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
27. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
