Overview
Thames Park Secondary School is seeking a friendly, organised, and dedicated Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff. As a valued member of our administrative team, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth school operations while providing excellent customer service. Thames Park Secondary School is a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools' Co-operative Society. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Support Manager.
Opened in 2020, we moved into our £25 million state-of-the-art facilities in 2022. Responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors and handling telephone enquiries
* Managing school communications with parents
* Assisting with clerical tasks such as sorting mail and distributing letters
* Using the school management information systems (Bromcom) for administrative support
* Communicating with parents using current systems
* Providing general clerical support as required
Requirements / Qualifications
* Be passionate, motivated, and have excellent communication skills
* Be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure and remain positive
* Have GCSE Maths & English - 4-9 or equivalent and strong IT skills
* Have excellent written skills with the ability to multi-task
