Our client, a leading manufacture of bailing twine is looking a number of Production Operatives to join their expanding team. To carry out a variety of activities within the production process.
Responsibilities
* To carry out a variety of activities within the production process.
* Enabling production requirements to be met in the most effective and efficient manner and ensuring orders are met on time.
* Work within the internal quality system ensuring that a high standard of production is maintained through to finished product stage.
* Maintain quality records where required and carry out regular inspection duties. Report all deficiencies to the production supervisors.
* Operating the machinery lines.
* Carry out routine operational checks and undertake any basic maintenance on machinery within the guidelines of the supervisor.
* Monitoring the operation of automatic and semi-automatic machines involved in the manufacturing process.
* Packing finished goods in appropriate storage containers and ensuring goods are properly weighed, labelled, packaged and stored.
Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrating high levels of literacy and numeracy.
* Previous experience in a production orientated environment.
* Previous experience of working in a team.
* Engineering / plastics sector experience would be an advantage.
* Above criteria are only desirable and not essential as full training will be given.
Further Information
Work time: Continental 12 hour shifts over 2 weeks 7 day shifts 7 night shifts.
