As a Workforce Development Assistant, you will support the delivery of learning and development activities across Children's Services. Working within the Learning and Development Academy, you will help organise training programmes, monitor training compliance, support workforce events, and maintain the systems and processes that underpin workforce development. You will also support quality assurance activities by helping to gather and record evidence of how learning is improving practice. This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work with colleagues across the service and contribute to improving outcomes for children and families. The Role: The post sits within the Learning and Development Academy for Children’s Social Care, within the wider Children & Families Directorate. Key Responsibilities: Coordinating evaluation and audit activity to measure the impact of learning and development initiatives Supporting the analysis of learning needs and helping to plan and deliver training programmes Organising training events and producing workforce development information and insights Maintaining accurate records on the learning management system and generating management reports Assisting with the coordination and delivery of apprenticeships and student placements, working closely with internal teams anduniversity partners About You: Experience of arranging, planning, facilitating, and evaluating learning and development activities An ability to maintain databases and produce management information reports Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate training activity, events and diaries to deadlines. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and partners.
