Birdie Golf Porthcawl is a vibrant golf Shop dedicated to growing the game of golf and providing excellent customer service. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for golfers of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned players.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Junior Coach & Shop Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about golf, customer service, and helping others enjoy the game.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Customer Experience
* Assist with delivering fun and engaging golf coaching sessions for juniors and beginners.
* Support group activities, holiday camps, and introductory golf lessons.
* Provide encouragement and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Shop & Operations
* Welcome and assist customers in the golf shop.
* Advise customers on equipment, apparel, and services.
* Handle bookings, payments, and general shop duties.
* Help maintain a tidy, well-presented shop environment.
What We're Looking For
* A passion for golf and a desire to inspire others to enjoy the game.
* Confident, approachable, and great with people (especially children and families).
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Reliable, well-presented, and a good team player.
* Some golf coaching or retail experience is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided.
