A well established and rapidly growing organisation in Radstock are seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk. In this role, you will play a key part within the finance team, delivering a professional, efficient service while ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all purchase ledger activity.
Responsibilities will include:
* Processing of purchase invoices
* Processing purchase orders
* Statement / Direct Debit reconciliation
* Maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time
* Ensure payments adhere to HMRC requirements
* Resolving supplier queries
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service focus.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong IT and numeracy skills, with confidence using financial systems and spreadsheets.
* Effective organisational and time-management skills; able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* A collaborative team player with a positive, professional approach.
* Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
* Demonstrates integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
