About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Technical Administrator to join our Living Places business unit in the Street Lighting department based in Coventry.
What you'll be doing
As a Planning and Technical Administrator, your main responsibilities include:
1. Taking ownership of planning/scheduling all third-party jobs.
2. Managing third-party meetings with clients.
3. Creating and issuing project cover forms.
4. Managing dig packs and permits for contractual works.
5. Creating and issuing completion documents to clients, in line with contracts.
6. Maintaining and updating contractual documents for management reporting.
7. Monitoring and updating management information systems, including investigations and resolutions.
8. Managing variations and valuations in conjunction with the commercial team.
9. Producing and issuing invoices according to company procedures.
10. Managing work-in-progress and debt, in collaboration with the commercial team.
11. Contributing to annual budgets and forecasts.
12. Monitoring and updating mobile digital system devices.
13. Managing reactive fault time frames.
14. Supporting the operations team in reactive and planned maintenance activities.
15. Supporting the systems manager with digital implementations and troubleshooting.
16. Handling customer and resident communications and inquiries.
17. Assisting the contract team with administering small third-party quotes.
