Polypipe Building Services houses well-known industry brand Terrain and has been delivering systems to commercial, high rise residential, healthcare, education and leisure projects for over 50 years.Role:To main purpose of this role is to prioritise the assembly orders, ensure all component parts are available, plan the orders onto the various workstations and allocate the appropriate resource to carry out the required tasks.Key accountabilities:* Organisation of team, equipment, paperwork and general area, prioritising workload at all times to meet customer requirements detailed in the planning spreadsheet.* Print and allocate all paperwork labels required for the assemblies* Plan teams short term absence for activities such as training, medical appointments, moulding coverage etc to minimise the impact on the team’s objectives.* Active participation in mandatory and appropriate developmental skills training courses.* Update fire register/attendance in the morning and throughout the day if necessary (Including labour transfer, meetings or any other non-productive hrs* Check and update BOR and change tables where required* Check priority orders and update planning sheet* Update table rota based on priorities on the planning sheet.* Check and update BOR and change tables where required.* Book orders and update Planning spreadsheet.* Check and update IFS stock when any inaccuracies are noticed.
