Accident Repair Centre Manager – Vrieservice
Join Vrieservice, the UK leader in specialist vehicle repair. We are seeking an experienced manager to lead our Accident Repair Centre in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
About the role
As Accident Repair Centre Manager you will lead and manage a skilled team of panel beaters, paint technicians, estimators and customer advisers. You will oversee daily workshop operations, manage budgets, supplier contracts, maintain equipment, ensure compliance with health and safety standards and BS10125 quality standards, and nurture strong relationships with customers and insurance companies.
Key responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and manage the accident repair team.
* Ensure smooth and efficient workshop operations through effective workflow and timely maintenance of equipment.
* Oversee quality assurance to deliver high standards of repair and customer satisfaction.
* Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, monitor budgets, and oversee financial performance.
* Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to safeguard staff and operations.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, fleet managers and insurance companies.
* Drive achievement of company business objectives and customer service excellence.
Qualifications and experience
* Proven leadership and management experience within an accident repair or vehicle bodyshop environment.
* Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts and operational workflows.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain high‑quality repair standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Experience managing operations and teams within an accident repair centre or similar automotive environment.
* Ability to meet performance targets and deliver business objectives successfully.
Required skills
* Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with staff, customers, fleet managers and insurers.
* Thorough technical understanding of vehicle mechanics and repair processes.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities to manage workflow and equipment maintenance.
* Commitment to health and safety standards and continuous quality improvement.
