Wood is recruiting for a Principal Structural Engineer to join its Upstream business within our Operations team focusing on providing structural engineering support to the Client contract and execute work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards.
Hybrid – 3 days/ week in Aberdeen office
The Role
We are currently growing our project and modification portfolio which includes projects in full lifecycles ranging from early Study / FEED into detail design.
In this role, the Principal Structural Engineer will use their technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables.

Expected:
1. Degree in engineering discipline, alternatively, tertiary level education combined with suitable industry experience can be used to demonstrate equivalence professional knowledge and extensive progressive experience in general engineering
2. Ability to discover issues and recommend solutions to technical and commercial issues uncovered during course of performing assignments
3. Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
4. Professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
5. Chartered Engineer (or working towards)
