We are recruiting for a Trainee Assistant Accountant to join our busy Accounts team. This will be a varied role which will train the right candidate to be able to assist the Finance Manager in monthly reporting and assisting with purchase ledger and subcontractor accounts when needed. This role reports into the Finance Manager. What you'll do as a Trainee Assistant Accountant Aiding study for accounting qualifications. Training on the cashbook, purchase and subcontract ledgers to be able to cover when needed. Learning how to assist the Finance Manager in preparation of management accounts, cashflows and Trading accounts. Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager What experience do I need? Eager to start a career in a financial role Working towards Accountant qualifications Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Excel Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure
