CGI is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join an existing team, supporting a Windows Server environment. Working within a highly experienced team, the successful candidate will deliver and support high‑quality system changes against customer requirements and respond well to change.
Due to the highly secure nature of the project, this role is open only to UK Nationals who hold Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance and onsite attendance at the specified location(s) 5 days per week is required for secure system access. Candidates without security clearance can apply and may be considered for other opportunities in CGI.
Responsibilities
* Deliver new capability to the customer while improving earlier iterations of the system, primarily managing existing system operations and on‑site user management.
* Implement and test changes to live system.
* Configure, test, document and maintain Windows Server and Client Operating Systems on development systems and live client sites.
* Deploy primary core system at client locations.
* Provide 2nd line support of live operational systems, supporting users on any issue arising without remote connection.
* Produce and update documentation to reflect standard approaches to tasks and processes, ensuring services and processes match documentation.
* Build and unit test assigned work packages and deployments.
* Support User Acceptance testing, system test and other assurance.
