We are recruiting a Project Surveyor to join a well-established social housing provider in Peterborough. As a Project Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial delivery of planned maintenance and capital investment projects, ensuring financial performance, compliance and value for money. What’s on offer:
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Working pattern: Full-time, flexible hybrid working

Project Surveyor key responsibilities include:
Managing budgets across planned works and capital projects
Preparing cost plans, forecasts and tender documentation
Procuring and managing contractors in line with public sector regulations
Administering JCT/NEC contracts
Managing valuations, variations and final accounts
Monitoring financial performance and reporting on project spend
Supporting asset investment and long-term financial planningProjects will include kitchen and bathroom programmes, roofing and external works, fire safety upgrades, retrofit and decarbonisation schemes, void refurbishments and major repairs programmes.
You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, effective negotiation skills and experience delivering projects within social housing or the public sector.
The successful Project Surveyor will have:
A qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Experience managing contractors and project budgets
Knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Strong stakeholder and contract management skills
