Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a global, market-leading electrical manufacturer.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager shall be covering the South West of the UK selling power quality products and managing key accounts within the critical power industry, with a strong focus on Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems). Full product training provided.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager must have direct sales or service experience with UPS Systems, or closely related technologies such as battery systems, power inverters, STS, and critical power distribution.

* £54,000 – £57,000 depending on experience

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role
* Manage key accounts across distribution channels and OEM customers within the critical power industry.
* Drive growth across the South West region, focusing on Unninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems) and wider power quality solutions.
* Achieve sales targets through UPS System product demonstrations, exhibitions, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
* Liaise with various engineering departments..
* Fully remote Covering the South West UK territory, Wales, Birmingham and surrounding areas managing both new and existing business.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements
* Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar within the UPS or critical power sector.
* Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts involving: Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS Systems) or closely related technologies such as battery systems, power inverters, STS, and critical power distribution.
* Understanding of the data centre sector and the UPS market.
* Strong technical aptitude around UPS Systems, power distribution, critical power, or related electrical technologies.
* Motivated, enthusiastic, and driven to grow within a global electrical engineering manufacturer.
* An electrical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous.
